Leader of Customs Department. I am in charge of staff in Arg and Costa Rica. Responsible for Arg. Trade Compliance and implementation of New foreign trade Regulations, best practices. Owner of CSA ( Control Self Assessment) and I lead the Customs Brokers Audits. SPOC Anti Bribery Audits. Coaching to organization in customs compliance policies. Continuously developing skills for the implementation of customs compliance policies in the organization. Responsible for Customs Brokers´ KPI. I updated them according to needs and context. Responsible for Customs Operations Imports & Exports of Finished Products, RPM, Capital, Spare Parts & Samples. (Lead Times, HTS, Reporting, Doc. Controls) Lead Import Licenses Process and improved a System to simplify process. Managed and implemented projects to reduce customs operation demurrages and eliminate customs risk. I delivered 2 special projects with achievements: zero risk in customs penalties by suspensive customs regime implemented for containers arrived without import licenses approved; and 30% duties saving and positive contribution in import license´s trade balance by temporary imports process implemented. Awarded Employee of the Year in 2021 for Extraordinary Performance - Contributions to the business. I implemented successful fast project to avoid production stop. Responsible for Customs Duties Control Process. I implemented a guaranteed customs process to avoid impact on duty forecast and LT Customs clearance for contingencies. I collaborate with 4PL Forwarding Management Responsible for Trade Balance and Industry Analysis Report. I implemented their automation. Responsible for developed Customs Operations department (Imports & Exports). I implemented Customs Brokers´ KPIs. I improved Customs Clearance Lead Time and led a project to change CB with bad performance. And I´ve been broadly recognized for Business Contribution. I reduced Customs Demurrages by 90% compared to the previous Fiscal Year. I Led Import Licenses Process. I simplified and automatized it. I implemented SOPs (Standard Operation Procedures) for Capital, Spares & Samples imports. I Implemented controls to apply Certificate of Origin according to Regional Agreements. I achieve 2% savings in duties impact SPOC Customs Compliance. I collaborated for community programs (import of water purifier to to supply communities without drinking water) After this successful role I was promoted to Customs & Compliance Operation Manager.
