I worked for almost 3 years as an Omics Data Scientist at L'Oréal Advanced Research. There, I was working on multi-omics machine learning and statistical network models for the analysis of data generated from tissue engineered skin, clinical transcriptomics studies and cosmetics repositioning.
Previously, as a PhD Teaching Assistant and Computer Programmer, I used computer game development to create and teach a course in biomedical modeling and to mentor students on the development of biological soft matter simulations. In parallel, I designed a smartphone application, EZPaperz for Papers, for easier reference management and synchronization on Android. Later, I released similar versions of EZPaperz for other reference management softwares, namely MendEZ for Mendeley, ZotEZ for Zotero and Aziz, Lite! . Additionally, I worked with a midwife to design ezPregnancy, a lightweight Android/iOS app for helping obstetrics experts follow the pregnancy of their patients.
As a skill still in development, I really enjoy logo and game skin design, in addition to scientific/medical sketching.
