- BitpandaData EngineerTECHFebruary 2023 - Today (1 year and 11 months)Barcelona, CT, España- Led the implementation and adoption of dbt in Bitpanda, impacting several teams within the company. By the end of Q2 2024 4 teams have dbt on their toolkit, empowering them to create their own data models owning their own data.- Coached 3+ team members and managed 1 intern. Reduced the time to create the fifth MR from 6 weeks to 3 weeks.- Created +50 ingestion jobs that run in a daily or hourly basis fetching data to Bitpanda's data lake from internal and external sources.- Oversaw the implementation of new practices that improved reliability and observability of the data platform (secret isolation in astronomer, masking policies in terraform, etc)- Contributed to the first AI products of Bitpanda attending the Bitpanda Hackathon on June of 2023. I have been managing Ricard for almost 2 years at Goin. It has been a real pleasure to work with such a dedicated and enthusiastic person and professional. I really learned a lot from him: from his deep technical skills to his ability to adaptively communicate to stakeholders.
