Luis Mas Serral

Hello, my name is Luis, and although it sounds like a cliché, my work is one of my passions in life (I have more, I promise, not just work :P).

Since he was a teenager he had always wanted to know what programming was. I discovered it when I was 13 years old and, since then, it has been a constant in my life. The feeling I get when programming is something similar to what I think a painter feels with a blank canvas, or a sculptor with a rectangular block of stone: with my hands I can make almost anything I want out of nothing.

I started with another programming language (PHP) but since I got my hands on Javascript almost 15 years ago, it has been my partner on multiple projects. Anything with Javascript and Typescript will make me feel comfortable, although I like that feeling of comfort to be disturbed from time to time with new projects or technologies. It's always exciting to get your hands dirty and learn new things.

I’m 40, and although nowadays it is difficult to see programmers over 48-50 years old in projects (they tend to migrate to management profiles), I hope I can reach that age and continue polishing my skills as a developer.

P.S. I said I had more passions in life than my job, so promise is debt. Cycling and sports in general are things without which I do not understand life. In addition, I love to enjoy free time with my partner watching movies or going for a walk in the mountains.
