As the sole DevOps and Systems Engineer at Kalyp, I introduced DevOps culture to the company, which previously lacked structured practices. I designed and implemented infrastructure automation and cloud management solutions, driving signifcant improvements in effciency, scalability, and security. Key Achievements:

• Introduced Docker-based workfows as an interim solution for automating manual infrastructure processes, integrated into GitLab CI pipelines, while designing and implementing a new Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solution.

• Replaced the legacy infrastructure management system with Terraform (AWS) and Kubernetes-based IaC, phasing out legacy Ansible scripts.

• Deployed Hyperledger Fabric using an open-source Kubernetes operator, improving stability and reducing reliance on outdated scripts.

• Implemented GitOps practices with GitHub Actions and ArgoCD, automating deployments and managing applications across environments via Helm charts.

• Optimized cloud resource usage by identifying cost-saving opportunities and improving resource effciency.

• Conducted comprehensive infrastructure and architecture reviews, proposing and executing enhancements for security, stability, and scalability.

After extensive exposure to DevOps and System Engineering in my previous role as Senior Backend Engineer, I transitioned to the SaaS department to focus fully on DevOps. Our team managed the design, development, and support of customer and internal infrastructure, hosted entirely on AWS and Azure. We are also responsible for Continuous Deployment (CD) solutions and collaborate with various teams to implement Continuous Integration (CI). Key Responsibilities:

• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.

• Cloud infrastructure management with AWS and Azure.

• Implemented a GitOps solution (ArgoCD) to automate CD while maintaining fne-grained control and visibility over application states.

• Developed Helm libraries and starter charts to streamline Kubernetes application deployments for development teams.

Backbase is a cutting-edge fntech company offering an omni-channel digital banking platform built on a microservices architecture. I worked across two departments, facing distinct challenges and responsibilities: Solutions Engineering (Presales)

• Served as the customer-facing backend expert, supporting sales with technical insights to help potential clients evaluate Backbase's solutions.

• Led core integrations for Proof of Concepts (POCs), deploying the platform (cloud, Kubernetes, on-premise) and managing infrastructure.

• Presented technical workshops and deep dives, showcasing Backbase's products and tech stack to customer technical teams. Customer Success (Consulting & Implementation)

• Collaborated with Solution Architects to design and implement integration strategies for newly signed projects, acting as backend lead in 10+ successful implementations.

• Led an internal initiative to streamline project inceptions using our SaaS platform, signifcantly reducing the initial phase effort.

• Worked closely with the SaaS department on DevOps initiatives, bridging the gap between developers and system engineers.

• Participated in recruitment by conducting technical interviews and reviewing candidate assignments.
