Led the design, architecture, and delivery of the data and digital engineering stack for Volvo's Spanish National Sales Company (NSC), replacing legacy infrastructure with a modern, cloud-native platform. Data Platform Architecture Architected and deployed a modern data infrastructure for the NSC: Azure Data Lake Gen2 as the central data store, a locally integrated Snowflake environment for analytics, and multiple real-time data pipelines — giving the business its first unified, real-time view of dealership operations, parts, and aftermarket activity. Legacy Modernization Led the migration of a critical business interface from IBM iSeries 7.4 to a cloud API, enabling real-time data access to dealership, spare parts, and after sales operations that had previously been locked in batch-processed legacy systems. First API Integration with Third-Party Providers Designed and delivered the NSC's first real-time API integration with an external data provider, enabling live access to the national customer database — a capability that didn't exist before. Data Products Built and maintained a national vehicle sales database in production, and created a historical replica of the local customer database going back to 2001 — unlocking 20+ years of customer data for analytics and business intelligence. Cross-Functional Leadership Served as primary technical liaison between engineering, vendors, and business stakeholders across global markets, managing distributed delivery in a matrix organization spanning Sweden, Spain, and multiple European NSCs.

Led agile software engineering projects delivering value across IAG's group operating businesses (British Airways, Iberia, Vueling, Aer Lingus), managing distributed teams spanning multiple countries. Oversaw development and integration of internal data analytics and tooling using ServiceNow and Power BI, improving operational reporting and information retrieval across the organization. Drove O365 security hardening and Electronic Flight Book digitization initiatives, shipping production software on tight timelines in a highly regulated aviation environment. Practiced servant leadership through regular 1:1s, sprint retrospectives, and continuous coaching of cross-functional engineering teams.

Implemented global IT strategy simplifying processes, reducing costs, and improving experiences for 1,500+ employees across markets. Acted as the bridge between IT engineering and business leadership in a distributed, remote-first environment. Coordinated rapid deployment of remote work infrastructure during the COVID-19 crisis, enabling seamless remote operations for the entire workforce within weeks — a critical delivery under extreme time pressure.
