• As Procurement Coordinator for the LATAM region, I lead and manage the end-to-end sourcing and procurement activities across Brazil, Argentina, Chile, and Peru. I oversee a cross-country team of 11 direct reports, ensuring alignment with global procurement strategies and compliance with local market requirements.

My core responsibilities include:

Strategic Sourcing & Category Management:

Design and implement sourcing strategies across indirect categories, tailored to the specific needs of each country. Drive cost optimization, quality improvement, and supplier innovation through competitive bidding (RFQs), supplier negotiations, and framework agreements.

Supplier Management & Compliance:

Lead supplier qualification, onboarding, and performance monitoring processes. Ensure all vendors are compliant with corporate policies, local regulations, and ESG standards.

Procurement Operations:

Oversee procurement execution, contract lifecycle management, and PO process efficiency. Support internal stakeholders with purchase planning and demand management.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Reporting:

Act as key liaison between Procurement and Finance, delivering monthly cost reports, savings tracking, and budget alignment. Engage regularly with Legal, IT, and other functions to support procurement initiatives.

Team Leadership & Regional Governance:

Manage and develop a diverse team across multiple countries. Ensure knowledge sharing, process standardization, and consistent application of procurement policies across the region.

This role requires a strong mix of strategic thinking, operational execution, and people leadership, operating within a complex multinational environment.

• Accountable for the Procurement Center of Excellence development to support 08 countries in Latam with 5 people under my management

• Managed the procurement activities in Latam Regional Cards Processor Project, dealing with CFOs and CIOs from 08 different countries also member of the Steering Committee with Finance, IT, Operations and Payment

• Designed the negotiation process of the Move2Cloud procurement process for Microsoft Azure for all Latam geographies with a savings and a development plan from on prem to cloud migration

• Led the procurement process for replacement of the Managed Services Consultancy provider for Brazil, applying the TCO and analyzing the team sizing, seniority of the team

• Created a top 10 contracts management dashboard for all Latam Countries to evolve for a Category Plan, tailor made for each country.

• Chaired the e-Procurement Coupa BSM Implementation Project with a multitask team as a PMO (Project Management Officer)

• Coordinated the Procurement Transformation project aiming process, people and tools - Ecovadis for ESG purposes, RPAs to amplify the buyers performance

• Headed the Asphalt Bitumen (AB) commodity category with budgeting management and execution of strategic sourcing process.

• Boosted the Asphalt Bitumen (AB) importing and purchasing using the total cost of ownership (TCO), global sourcing and hybrid model development with global and local scenario information for budgeting purposes.

• Controlled SRM and Balanced Scorecard and Contract Management to ensure compliance and SLAs

• Established the Costdrivers tool and merged with SAP (MM) and Power BI integration.

• Partenered with budgeting team for development of new businesses and proposals for new concessions.

• Amplified the acquisition through Strategic Sourcing methodology, executing cost breakdown, RFX's and e-auctions.
