Team Leader of the Technical Assistance team providing support to the Delegation of the European Union in Mexico. Oversight of activities directly related to the implementation of policy and sectoral dialogue conclusions in priority areas. Organized events, studies, conferences, and exchanges to promote legislative and public policy reforms and implement EU-Mexico commitments. Focus on participation from public and private stakeholders (private sector, academia, civil society). Areas include Global Gateway strategy (biodiversity, sustainable transport and mobility, energy efficiency, ecosystems, climate change), modernization of the EU-Mexico Global Agreement, democratic governance, rule of law, security, human rights, trade and sustainable development, social cohesion, inequality reduction, employment, migration, and civil society engagement.

Led the identification and implementation of a regional value chain in the tropical fruit sector for the European market. Responsibilities included quantitative market research for product and country selection, mapping value chain actors at national level, constructing and validating national and regional value chains, qualitative market study to identify EU importers and compliance requirements, and defining action plans and governance structures. Also coordinated both inbound and outbound commercial missions.

Advisor to the Director of Business Development Services (SDE) under the Vice Ministry of MSMEs. Designed a market-oriented support model for MSMEs ensuring territorial coverage and improvement in planning, implementation, and monitoring of development strategies. Coordinated with INAP to shift towards results-based management. Analyzed information systems to optimize MSME service delivery. Reviewed EU environmental and social regulations affecting Guatemalan exports under the EU-CA Association Agreement.
