Storytelling is my passion, and challenging projects inspire me.

I’m Frandu Almeida, a Brazilian filmmaker from Rio de Janeiro, currently based in Sesimbra, Portugal.

With over 15 years of experience in the film industry, I’ve worked as an editor, director of photography (DP), colorist, and sound finisher on a variety of projects across Brazil, Argentina, and Portugal. My portfolio spans diverse fields, from documentaries and live-action films screened in theaters and festivals to advertising and corporate videos for multinational companies.

Corporate Clients: Merck, Lundbeck, Avène, Bioderma, Pierre Fabre, and Greenpeace.

Notable Films:

“Hermógenes, Professor and Poet of Yoga” (feature documentary that screened for 12 weeks in Brazilian theaters).

“Projeto 150” and “Think BIG, Think Small-Scale” (award-winning short films featured in festivals worldwide).
