• Define and apply the Company's Security Plan.

• Ensure the carry out of data security audit every two years, either internal or external, or when substantial changes occur in the information system that may have an impact on the security of personal data.

• Prevent under any circumstance the deactivation of the security and control mechanisms.

• Create firewall rules to prevent external intrusions.

• Maintain the company's infrastructure protected with updated antivirus and antispyware software.

• Protect Wi-Fi network access points with MAC filter rules.

• Advise on new releases in information technology in order to promote improvements in all the company's areas.

• Develop and track budgets and investment spending of the IT Department

• Install and maintain IT equipment including (but not restricted to) servers, workstations, databases, printers, scanners.

• Create and apply Active Directory Group Policies.

• Configure and manage backup & restore procedures to NAS/SAN, Cloud, external drivers and other storage media.

• Identify potential system-related risks and, create and apply plans to prevent them.

• Respond queries in a timely and accurate manner and resolve them to the user's satisfaction.

• Act as first point of contact for all IT & technical queries.

• Diagnose & resolve hardware, software & end user's problems.

• Repair IT equipment.

• Work within a TCP/IP network environment, including DHCP, DNS and Ethernet and provide secondary support for LAN administration.

• Maintain a wide range of computer hardware and software programs.

• Deploying new hardware, server backups & evaluating new software & security risks.

• Investigate specialist and complex IT support issues.

• Develop shell scripts for automated tasks. Experience with xcopy and robocopy.
