During this time,I participated in the project Design, manufacture and commissioning of water purification systems for indigenous communities of the Orinoco River Delta, Venezuela. I was responsible for the selection of materials for the different parts that make up the water treatment system, to do this, I designed and performed electrochemical and immersion experiments to determine corrosion rates, describe the possible failure mechanisms that components could suffer and provide a projection of the lifetime of water treatment plants. Similarly, I participated in reengineering projects for the pharmaceutical, aeronautical, oil and chemical industries, both in the analysis of failures, selection of materials and mechanical design. Analyzing experimental evidence from techniques such as Hardness, Microhardness, Fatigue, Traction Tests, Optical and Electronic Microscopy, Corrosion Tests. I participated and then was responsible for the development of the research line in Nanostructured Semiconductors, in which three Degree Projects were prepared, collaborated in 2 final Master's Projects and a Master's Project was developed. In this sense, between 2018 and 2019 I was a tutor of a Degree Project. This research has made it possible to understand the influence of structural modifications on the behavior of nanostructured semiconductors, contributing up to now, three popular science articles in high-impact journals and numerous participations in congresses.
