I am a CIMA qualified and a Prince 2 practitioner but the majority of my work involves these skills supporting SYSTEM & PROCESS reviews across many sectors to identify and implement LEAN office methods of working including embedding a culture of continuous improvement through SWOT sessions, stakeholder meetings and development of performance measures. I always seek to maximise value for my clients to enable them to operate efficiently and grow the bottom line, or save significant costs. Examples of projects are:-
• Insurance - supporting the design and development of processes and system within a FCA regulated environment, successfully launching the system with full compliance.
• Recycling – Review, establish and documentation of end to end processes in a business with £149m t/o business, supporting a variety of projects including system onboarding, system enhancements and team training following change.,
• Legal – supporting full ways of working changes with a legal environment, generating more efficient ways of work, scoping system changes and supporting this through to implementation.
• Hospitality – Documentation and implementation of a HR processes & requirements and a Rota system to support compliance in the hospitality industry, subsequently saving circa 0.5FTE per week in rota related activity and 0.5FTE in payroll activity per hotel. Identifying integration needs and issues between file transfer types.
• Public Sector - Review of the customer journey within a financial environment, understanding use of departmental system and interaction with the finance system, identifying areas to improve both for the customer and client’s along with development of KPI's.
• Charity – Review of finance department and relating activities. Full documentation of procedures indicating clear areas for enhancements and streamlining, generating circa 25% capacity in the team to accommodate increased activities.
