And a fully realised, beautiful brand doesn't have to be expensive, either. Enter Banana Duck Creative. - Uniquity MarketingAccount ManagerJune 2021 - May 2022 (11 months)Bristol, UKUniquity is a marketing agency for financial services brands, functioning as a full-service outsourced marketing team and consultative brand strategist for a portfolio of clients. I joined the company in September 2019 as a Marketing Account Executive (see details further down), before being promoted to the role of Account Manager in June 2021. As Account Manager, I am responsible for client liaison and project management for a mix of retainer and ad-hoc project-based clients. I maintain relationships with key contacts within the companies we service (typically owner-managers or Heads of Operations) and manage a team of in-house creatives and junior staff to deliver a range of projects and ongoing marketing support. I'm an excellent project manager, with the ability to juggle many (many!) competing priorities whilst working carefully to support my team and ensure that the workload is not only manageable, but constructed in a way that allows and enables them to perform at their personal best. I've put a lot of time and resource into making sure that the company is a brilliant place to work. As is often the case in such a small business (fewer than 10 full time employees), I wear several additional hats. I was the third employee in the company and have been instrumental in much of the business development to date, including introducing and implementing project management systems, processes, HR systems and policies. I established a formalised, robust method of planning and tracking capacity to allow us to accurately charge for project work and forecast availability and timescales. I'm currently responsible for HR within the business, including recruitment and onboarding. I'm also the Welfare Officer and am Mental Health First Aid trained.
