I help learning institutions, organisations, and companies create engaging, user-centred digital experiences tailored to their specific needs. My work combines web design and development with a strong background in instructional design, allowing me to create platforms and websites that are both functional and meaningful for their users.

I primarily work within the Moodle ecosystem, designing and developing custom themes, plugins, and learning experiences focused on usability, accessibility, and reducing cognitive load. I also design and build websites using technologies such as WordPress, Webflow, and headless architectures, often taking responsibility for branding, copywriting, and the overall launch process.

Across all projects, I place strong emphasis on thoughtful design, smooth interactions, accessibility, responsive development, and SEO best practices. My process is highly collaborative, with a strong focus on communication to understand the problems clients need to solve and the workflows their users are likely to follow.

Components for Learning is a cross-platform project (Moodle, WordPress, and TinyMCE) that enables educators to create learning content using a collection of semantically designed visual components aimed at reducing learners’ cognitive load. It is an open-source project that has been supporting educators in creating learning activities since 2022. Several free plugins for Moodle are available, with hundreds of downloads from the global Moodle community.

I created, designed, and developed the entire project, including all the components and most of the plugins.

In addition to the open-source project at componentsforlearning.org, I also run a related premium service at componentsforlearning.com.

Web design and development

I’ve designed and developed multiple websites for companies and institutions of various kinds over the last decade (WordPress, Webflow, headless). In most cases, I was also responsible for branding, copywriting, and the overall launch process. All websites are fully responsive, accessible, and optimised for SEO.

My process involves a strong focus on communication with my clients to understand the problems they need me to solve, and the potential workflows their expected users may follow.
