I'm surefooted, resilient and can demonstrate original vision when required to respond to challenging expectations. My wide tech & digital experience lends itself to almost any digital project. In government and, more recently in the private sector, I have provided credibility and stability during a period of concurrent pressure, change and criticism.

I adapt my advice and the way in which I set strategy and policy to facilitate communication with differing target audiences. One size does not fit all when it comes to digital and tech and a vast range of political, organisational, technological and economic factors need to be taken into account when deciding on a way forward. Having also worked across the world in Africa, Europe and Asia, I have a deep understanding of different requirements.

I wrote the governemnt cloud strategy and cloud guide for the public sector and led on the government legacy strategy giving me deep expertise in both.

Leadership and management, making recommendations and building agile continuously improving teams is also a key skill of mine.

My ability and knowledge is gained from my extensive experience of working with a wide variety of stakeholders from across functions within the public and private sector. I have over 15 years experience of working in the public sector and five in DDaT and I am adept at bridging the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders to produce clear approaches that are understood by all parties.

    This role is to own all digital areas of the Institute: our website, intranet, internal comms channels, knowledge management portal, performance and reporting and all digital related products. This role will also build a new cross-TBI team and network, and will manage relationships with external suppliers and internal team members to ensure the Institute's digital presence is constantly developing. When I arrived there was no KMS nor understanding of the digital estate or stakeholder mapping. My role is to undertake a review of, and retaining oversight and management of TBI's digital estate, with appropriate governance and flexibility to enable a fast-growing organisation operating in multiple geographies and markets, including some with low internet bandwidth is the initial focus of the role before building on content and SEO strategies and building a full digital transformation team.

    I worked alongside the rest of the SLT and reported directly to the Chief Executive of the Centre. I provided passionate, committed leadership that was both transparent and accountable to my standards team. I was brought in to create, iterate and embed a brand new Welsh Digital Service Standard. I was an advocate for standards in digital design and delivery. I also represented CDPS across the public sector at all levels and regularly spoke at events. As I was leading a small team, I turned my hand to all aspects of this work using experience from previous roles to create blogs, presentations, guidance, support at conferences and board and ministerial level meetings Key responsibilities:
    ●owning the ongoing iteration of the Welsh Service Standards
    ●establishing and managing the Welsh public sector standards board
    ●continuing to embed use of the Service Standards across the public sector
    ●coordinating with the wider public sector on the creation of sector specific standards
    ●leading the development of a service manual
    ●working across the public sector to develop a pattern library and other shared design components
    ●contributing to the development of training development needs as this relates to the service standard
    ●leading the development of a service assessment approach and exploring the possibilities for spend controls across the public sector

    I provided strategic direction for the development of digital service standards, technology policy, technical writing and accessibility with user needs at the centre of this. I also provided strategic direction and leadership in relation to cloud strategy, cloud policy and cloud capability building, leading and directing the development of new cloud principles and strategy. I lead on the legacy strategy for government, leading my team in the creation of a legacy risk framework and hosting optimisation plan.

    Key responsibilities and projects carried out include:
    Leading the team and setting objectives to ensure that the policies and guidance created both internal to the team and across GDS/CDDO provide positive support and best practice for government
