- Value MatchResourcing ConsultantLOGISTICS & SUPPLY CHAINMay 2022 - February 2023 (9 months)Durham, United KingdomFocused on 360 recruitment of procurement professionals across the country. This role was remote and involved, but was not limited to, approaching clients about new requirements, finding new projects, advertising, sourcing candidates, liaising with and interviewing candidates, frequent communication with clients, arranging interviews, onboarding new hires, billing and accurately providing rates, and feeding back insights into the current market. As this role encompassed the entirety of the resourcing process I was often tasked with a high number of deadlines which I was comfortable working to due to my strong organisational skills. Value Match Limited is primarily a procurement consultancy and as such we primarily focused on supporting other businesses and government bodies to fill their procurement needs. As I was new to procurement, I undertook a lot of self led training and research to build my skills and expand my knowledge. As part of my role I researched, created and managed my own projects within the resourcing team such as my ‘Procurement Stars Reverse Recruitment’ project and my “...of the week” campaign on LinkedIn, where I would highlight a candidate and job each week across my LinkedIn pages to reach as many people as possible. This has been very successful in terms of impressions, feedback, and responses to posts, even with it only launching in December 2022.
