I am a designer with over 20 years of experience and a triple-crown thru-hiker (having completed the Appalachian Trail, Pacific Crest Trail & Continental Divide Trail among many other long-distance trails and routes) who thinks long-distance hiking can change the world. Through design and writing, I work to curate the recreation experience in outdoor places. I LOVE maps, and have enjoyed combining my design and multi-media background with interactive mapping and now make ArcGIS story maps to help organizations make their story come alive.

When I'm not hiking, I'm probably packrafting, skiing, reading, or desert bathing.
