Working alongside Engineers in the Big Data team, I design, develop and integrate new capabilities into the Big Data platform

• Develop applications to provide insights for trading data (order entry, market data, etc.)

• Working as a domain expert to advise and troubleshoot production deployments

• Collaborating with the Machine Learning team to integrate new algorithms into the platform

Working directly with CTO to tackle key strategic Data challenges for the company, and integrate in-house algorithms into the product. Achievements include work on Simjacker vulnerability, as well as 5G-readiness

- Consolidate company's data processes, data analysis and extraction of business-critical Intelligence from data. Prototyping and integration into product.

- Data Engineering and Management: Collecting data from various databases, streams and other sources including Wireshark captures, house it on company cloud/ SQL database / HDFS. Data analysis using Hive / Impala, Spark, Dask. Connect to visualization tools. Configuration and maintenance of Hadoop / Spark / Hive stack.

- Anomaly detection and Rules Mining: Formulate the signaling security problem as an anomaly detection problem, use machine learning frameworks to extract useful information and narrow focus of analysts on potential threats.

- Security research and prototyping: Working mainly on Signaling security for SS7 protocols

Build Proofs of concepts for clients in the Travel, Defense and Manufacturing industries.

• Deep Learning and Computer Vision: Design solutions using Python, Tensorflow, C++ and Darknet for a variety of projects in Computer Vision projects including Satellite images, Quality Control and Surveillance. Helped spreading the knowledge by giving two hands-on lectures about Neural Networks.

• Programming: Deliver scalable, efficient code in several languages. I perform most Data Analysis, Machine Learning and Deep Learning tasks in Python. I developed some web apps in Node.js and Javascript (including a chatbot and a frontend for Pose Detection app). I also put my Java and C++ code in NLP/AI related hackathons. Work with AWS and Docker to deploy a code base.

•Team work: Work with people whose skills range from User Experience Design to Finance. During projects I make sure everyone understands the constraints with the different fields of AI and Machine Learning.
