Skill set (14)
Phil in a few words
I have had commercial experienced in technical sciences (strategic roles on a Global setting), leading people across a range of geographies, and working with products, consumables and services. I have a solid sales & marketing background. I have taken businesses from zero to tens of millions in numerous geographies. My interaction with investors, sponsors and partners has been commonplace. I work on an international setting. I am a seasoned C suite relationship maker (internal and external) – having a healthcare top down approach. The need is very much in line with my own background – skill set and experience.

Summary of Achievements:
I have held P&L responsibilities into the end of millions. Had sales and marketing teams report to me. Numerous times I have taken businesses from effectively zero turnover in certain geographies, to >$15M.

This has included responsibilities for products and services.
I have established strategic & tactical teams, from zero upwards across an array of disciplines.
I have developed strategic marketing plans to drive business (in one example penetrating markets from a standing start to $5M in the first year)
A history of working with multi-nationals & the NHS (GSK, Pfizer, Bayer, J&J, BI, Merck, Mitsubishi, Samsung and more). Within each encouraging a more strategic and intimate relationship.

Outside of work, I volunteer for the RNLI (Royal National Lifeboat Institution), a charity run by volunteers that saves lives at sea. It was founded in 1824 and it's saved 139,000 lives since then. The RNLI provides, on call, a 24-hour lifeboat search and rescue service - it has a fleet of more than 330 lifeboats around the coast of the UK.
I am active volunteer crew member, Head Launcher and qualified casualty carer. It requires maritime knowledge and to be an unquestionable team player.
