It all started with a love for storytelling.

Super-short stories to be exact, in the form of five-lined limericks or poems which I would bestow on friends and family whenever or wherever I had the chance. Any opportunity to conjure a smile through a quick-fire construct of clever words and phrases was like a drug to me. You could say it’s what brought the jester most joy.

And 20 years on, with twelve years under my belt crafting copy for brands both big and small, agency and in-house, that joy continues to touch every single thing I do. From brand positioning and scriptwriting, to 'Sunday Punday' at home and jaunty jingles for my dog Ralph on our daily walks - words are one of my strongest weapons.

They have the power to excite, inspire and disrupt. They have the power to make change. All you have to know is how to wield that power.
