I was responsible for leading a team of highly professional and proficient Finance Business Partners working for IB and Corporate businesses of the COO organization, managing the cost base of c£2 bn and delivering timely, transparent and value added reporting of financials on regular basis working in conjunction with stakeholders.  Financial advice and challenge on strategic as well as tactical issues

I was responsible for effective running of the vertical, providing Strategic Insight, Robust Analysis, Decision Support, meaningful Management Reporting, Planning and Forecasting, MIS et al, mainly for Barclays Global Technology Business & India entity. Major responsibilities Include:

 Evaluation of strategic business cases and sharing recommendations

 Pricing of new businesses across verticals & locations

 Partnering with senior business stakeholders, enable effective decision making through periodic reviews and presentations

 Managing India operations and implementing strategies to build Centre of Excellence (COE); Supporting and influencing key operational and strategic decisions

 Planning and Forecasting with focus on streamlining and optimizing the cost base

 Management reporting to drive cost efficiencies and flag Risks & Opportunities

 Enhance control environment through effective Risk & Control assessment
