For over 20 years, I have been consulting for financial institutions and financial services providers globally, leading initiatives in: Payment Solution Architecture, Payment Product & Program Management, and Payment Technology Integration and Implementation.
Through deep technical expertise coupled with strong business acumen, I am able to devise, drive and deliver efficient strategies and frameworks for Payment Technology Transformation programs taking into consideration both technical, business and strategic inter-dependencies and objectives.
With experience that spans the US, Canada, Latin America, UK and EMEA region, I had the exposure and first-hand experience in the latest payment technologies, EMV Chip migrations, debit, credit and prepaid card issuing, transaction processing systems migrations including Payment Gateways, ATM and POS device management.

This includes: ○ Feasibility and initiation of new features ○ Vendor selection ○ Overall consultation for market and technology trends for Payments.• Crafting the enterprise end-to-end architecture that meets the business functional and non-functional requirements• Working with the platform, infrastructure and telecom architects to get them to the understanding required to create detailed architecture and solution design.
- SCOTIABANKDirector - Cards TechnologySeptember 2019 - July 2022 (2 years and 10 months)Drive the teams responsible for debit, credit card and wallet technology initiatives. This includes the two major initiatives that the bank has embarked upon:• The migration from FDR to TSYS as the third-party credit card processor ○ All integration touch points from the core banking as well as the various channels ○ Review technology specification for the gateway and cards technology. ○ Addition of Amex issuing and acquiring to the bank.• The acquisition and integration of Banco Del Progresso in the Dominican Republic (Completed June 2020) ○ Gap analysis of all systems to identify which systems to keep, upgrade or retire. ○ Drive the change with internal resources and external vendors ○ Participate in various dry-runs and dress-rehearsals
