The brand Tare Lifestyle Sri Lanka is based on religious concepts from the universe, and Methma Jayawardena created bespoke jewelry featuring her charming illustrations of the brand. With a combined background in jewelry, fashion design, and marketing, she always prioritizes the best through her every project. I was working with her as her 3D visualizer for Tare Lifestyle; transparency and accountability were hugely important to her since her core concepts were the pillars of Tare at that time. The designs were always modern and ethnic, merging rough details and elegant textures. While the collections combine strong historical influences with current high fashion trends, the designs are contemporary, emphasizing texture and detail.

About Loha, Methma is inspired by everything from the structure of large cityscapes, geometric and wearable, to the flawless metal wires of fine jewelry pieces. Natural elements, everyday objects, bold and colorful cultural patterns influence carefully handmade Methma's collections.

Methma is a talented designer with a brilliant imagination and great taste in modelling as well as designing. During her time at Balmond Studio, Methma produced an amazing range of designs relating to jewellery, interior, furniture and product design. She is very passionate about her work and is always ready to learn and experience new things and step up to new responsibilities.
