Matthew Shaw

I'm a UK based international animator, art director and character designer. I've worked with some amazing clients on really exciting projects from around the world including the USA, Canada and the UK.

I love transforming ideas and stories, and developing them into bold and engaging content to get an audience excited.

​I've worked on a wide range of professional projects where I’ve used my skills for film, editorial, book design, graphic design, animation, story boarding and 3D work amongst others. In 2015 I was awarded a prestigious D&AD New Blood Pencil for my animation and illustration work demonstrated in my project ‘Making the most of creative struggles’. In 2020 I was also awarded three Gold awards at the Hermes Creative Awards and ​three gold awards at the AVA Digital Awards for animation and use of motion.
