About Maria

Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in 1994. I began my career in 2014 working on La Calle de los Pianistas (2015) by Mariano Nante. In 2015, I joined the editorial team at Cinecolor Digital while collaborating on films such as Clementina (2017) by Jimena Monteoliva, La Salvación (2017) by Flor Román, and Toda Esta Sangre en El Monte (2018) by Martín Céspedes. I edited my first short film by Gonzalo Bazillo (Mar del Plata Film Festival, 2016) and worked on projects like Luis (2016) by Rafael Federman and Paula Bugni, and the reality show El Mentor (2016).

After Cinecolor, I freelanced on Casi Leyendas (2017) by Gabriel Nesci and La Cordillera (2017) by Santiago Mitre (Cannes – Un Certain Regard), taking on roles in production and editorial departments. In 2017, I joined K&S Films’ postproduction team.

At K&S, I worked across production, post and editorial areas on El Ángel (Cannes 2018) by Luis Ortega, Acusada (Venice & TIFF 2018) by Gonzalo Tobal, El Pepe: Una Vida Suprema (Venice / Netflix 2018) by Emir Kusturica, La Odisea de los Giles (San Sebastián 2019) by Sebastián Borensztein, Mientras Dure la Guerra (San Sebastián 2019) by Alejandro Amenábar, Druk (2020) by Thomas Vinterberg (distribution), A Cielo Abierto (Venice & TIFF 2023) by Mariana and Santiago Arriaga, and the restoration of Tiempo de Valientes (2005) by Damián Szifron.

In 2021, K&S released its first Netflix series, El Reino, directed by Marcelo Piñeyro, where I was Post Coordinator for both seasons and edited the season one intro. I also coordinated post for El Fin del Amor (Prime Video 2022) and edited pieces like the trailer for Número Oculto (Spotify Original).

After almost seven years at K&S, I moved on to new goals. From November 2023 to September 2024, I worked as producer, post supervisor and editor on Mav Block’s first feature film.

Currently based in Barcelona, I collaborate on feature films and freelance postproduction projects.
