Liam in a few words
Hey! My name is Liam and I’m a freelance Creative Retoucher based in East London, UK.

I offer my remote services all over the world, with clients based not only in the UK, but also America & Australia.

I have completed a Photoshop & Retouching course at Docklands Media in London & I’ve continued to refine my skills through self-teaching. My focus has been on Fashion/Editorial & Beauty Retouching, and I take great pride in my ability to produce images to the highest standard.

EDITORIAL/PORTRAIT RETOUCHING:

I have worked with a variety of Editorial & Portrait photographers across the globe to retouch their clients in a natural way, especially in the regards to skin.

My approach to retouching revolves around enhancing the natural beauty of the subject, while ensuring that the final images are visually striking using a variety of tools including my good old friend 'Dodge & Burn'. I believe in subtlety when retouching, avoiding excessive alterations. My ultimate goal is to produce polished and refined images that are not overly retouched or artificial-looking.

COLOUR GRADING:

Colour grading is an indispensable technique in retouching as it allows me to elevate the visual impact and storytelling of imagery. Through careful manipulation of colour tones & contrast, I can create a cohesive and emotive narrative that complements the subject matter.

My ways of working would be to ask my client for a 'mood-board' or a small overview of what you'd like the colour grade to be based around.

I appreciate that the typical 9-5 doesn’t fit the creative industry & a photographers schedule so I do also offer a 'per image tariff.' Depending on the project size, I can aim to get these back to you the following day, if not the same day.
