• Source new materials from either existing suppliers or new approved suppliers through the correct
due diligence
processes to meet the business needs whilst optimising the commercial benefit.
• In conjunction with the R&D team, ensure that all supplier specifications precisely define the quality
and production
standards required.
• Where appropriate, attend suppliers first production runs to ensure adherence to my client's
requirements.
• Monitor supplier performance to ensure that suppliers meet the Organisations technical specifications.
• Advise the R&D team on the technical capabilities, opportunities and risks associated with the supplier
base.
• Manage redundant stock write offs and sales to third parties.
• Monitor all hired-in plant to ensuring that it is only in attendance on the specific project in required.
• Encourage suppliers to provide new product ideas and concepts for developments in the business.
• Goods and services shall only be procured from those suppliers who are detailed on the Approved
Suppliers List
unless imposed by the client.
• Purchase Orders prepared by the Purchaser shall contain a complete description of the items, materials
or services
required.
ISO and Internal Policy Compliance Manager Scope
Protects the company and its interests by ensuring compliance with internal control procedures, policy
and regulations.
Ensures compliance with established internal control procedures by examining records, reports,
operating practices and documentation.
