I'm a mobile/web developer (born in 82) living in Berlin. I'm building native apps, websites, web apps and other online solutions ever since finishing my vocational training as an IT specialist in 2006 at SIEMENS.

Professional:

Starting in 2018, my current focus lies in creating native apps for iOS and Android using React Native, both in my professional work, my private projects and online tutorials/courses.

Prior to that, during the time of 2006 to 2018, I've been working for a number of customers, companies and agencies, both employed and freelance, to create frontend solutions for web and mobile using a diverse set of techniques (RWD, SMACSS, ATOMIC) and frameworks/libraries (jQuery, MooTools, SCSS, Webpack, Metro, Grunt/Gulp, ReactJS) while planning and building them for both web and all mobile devices, creating a well-performing, UX-optimised and aesthetic online presence for my/our customers.

During my vocational and private projects, I'm interested in topics like Responsive Web Design (mobile web), Usability, User Experience, Accessibility as well as clean code, Web Standards, Web Best Practices and SEO Basics.

Private:

If I'm not reading web design blogs or working on my own website in my time off, I spend my time with my daughter on the playground, bicycling, swimming, playing badminton, with our dogs outdoors, working in the garden or with our friends and family playing Wii, PlayStation or board games.
