Jasper in a few words
I am passionate about travel in all its forms but particularly where it intersects with the wilder spaces in the world. The rich diversity of cultures and ecosystems around the world are what excites me. I have written for a variety of magazines based in various countries about my experiences.

I have particularly found enjoyment in slow travel, this has led me to walk the length of Scotland and cycle from Calais to Naples over the past few years. Currently, I am exploring the west coast of Canada. Experiencing the beauty of the turbulent climate has been exciting.

There should be more writers like Jasper in the world. He cares about the environment, our fragile ecosystems, threatened species, and native fauna; but also about the joy of life, the richness of culture, and the rights of individuals. Creating a positive future is the greatest challenge we currently face; writers like Jasper help to get us all on the same page so that we can address it together.

Food & Forests

Jasper joined Food & Forests at a pivotal stage of the business & programme development in Kenya. He demonstrated his ability to move between complex issues and apply a analytical mind to everything he did.

His Kilifi Research was brilliant. This piece of work, among others, enabled us to map out how we could help smallholder farming communities in coastal Kenya.

I would highly recommend him for any Research role. He proves to be very engaged, hardworking, affable and efficient.

Really look forward to working with him again in the future.

Thank you Jasper and good luck with your future endeavours.
