I was commissioned by Shoe Tree Arts to prepare and give workshops to primary schoolchildren on the techniques of SFX and dialogue recording to a brief involving the history of Newcastle upon Tyne's coal mining industry, in which the children were encouraged to plan and prepare storyboards for various scenarios which were then recorded with the children and edited into short audio dramas, displayed at The People's Theatre, Newcastle upon Tyne, as part of the Brains, Steam, and Speed project, which aimed to shed light on the history of science and engineering in Newcastle.
