Jack Thiel

I'm a creative problem solver with over 35 years of experience in technology (both hardware and software) which spans contributor and managerial roles. This includes over 25 years of software application solution design and development. While I have been most active in international financial services, I have also worked closely with manufactures and technology providers.

As a CISM, InfoSec is a focus area which I have championed for many years. My agenda is simple, help organisations to accelerate their adoption of industry standards and best practices to reduce the likelihood of an attack and at the same time, help them to align their InfoSec and business strategies.

I am a people person and enjoy cross-functional and close collaborations with others on meaningful projects. When managing a team, I like to help others to expand their skills, grow their confidence and achieve a healthy work-life-balance. Last, when I’m not in the office, I’m either brewing up another batch of my West Coast IPA, making homemade pasta or riding my road bike up another hill.
