This medium sized company was seeking a finance solution to allow the acquisition of a new CMM (a very accurate machine that measures to an incredibly high tolerance). The business had not been long established and, as such, had been struggling to get credit approval. I met with the business owners, via Teams, to learn as much as possible about the business; the experience of the Directors, the contracts won and delivered, and the future pipeline. I identified why the investment was beneficial to the business, the various areas where savings would be made, new business might be won, and existing contracts would become more profitable. I captured all of this information within the Underwriter Proposal. The HP Agreement was approved, and the Funder confirmed that the primary reason for the approval was the additional comfort the Underwriters derived from reading the detailed proposal I had written.
