Ian in a few words
IT Consultant in the industry for 30 years or so, with vast exposure of various technology stacks, industries and business techniques. Worked in Public and Private company sectors, with advice given to many Blue chip companies eg Tesco, BT, Next, Deutsche Bank etc. I can do most things from wiring a plug on a computer cable, all the way to setting up complex systems from scratch, with ability to converse with company owners all the way to the person on the shop floor. Adept at
database designs, but have recently specialised in data migrations from an end to end perspective. Last major database conversion was the migration of 11 Northern Irish councils planning portal data from their old Oracle system to an Azure platform.
Others have previously been actioned within time and budget. Experience of leading the whole process from data mapping, data cleansing transformation and so on!!
