Grace Smith

My name is Grace and I am starting out in the world of Graphic and Print Design. This passion started when I made a music magazine in my second year of University and found out that Adobe InDesign was my new bestfriend. I am an ambitious, hardworking and driven person who is able to use my own initiative; I work well under pressure both as a team and independently. I am an energetic person who has developed a mature and responsible approach to any task I can undertake, or situation I am presented with and my growth mindset allows me to produce a variety of different forms of work. I have a strong attention to detail and comprehensive knowledge of a wide range of creative software. Throughout my time at University I made sure to show that although I was undergoing a Journalism course - design was my specialism. I created infographics and magazine templates that are now used as examples for other years on my course, researched and wrote pieces that were dedicated to pages I had designed, and made sure to always incorportate the element of creativeness in everything I did.
