Versatile, creative and capable of turning messaging into anything from a 20-word copy line for BA to a multi-touch digital experience for a Big Four consulting firm. Recent work includes writing the tone of voice for two telecoms giants, writing scripts for Zoopla and helping Mars migrate their websites to new .coms as well as a three-month stint as Social Content Lead for TSB through Oliver; copywriting display and advertorials for BA at Mail Metro Media; and six months at Jack Morton Worldwide, as a creative strategist and copywriter on both pitches and active work.

  • Proximity London
    Editorial Director
    December 2014 - April 2019 (4 years and 4 months)
    London, UK
Responsibilities range from planning content strategies to ideating and originating smart-paced content for clients including John Lewis, Disney, P&G, SSE, Guide Dogs, MoneySupermarket, Kenco, Grey Goose, Bacardi and Lloyds. I have taken the initiative in developing a more extensive, expert content proposition for Proximity that leverages the company's UX, planning, data and design to execute and optimise better content. I worked closely with our data team to localise, develop and implement Proximity's proprietary content optimisation process, Content Darwinism, which we successfully rolled out across all the P&G content briefs, creating learnings that are being used in Proximity Paris and P&G. I enjoy presenting to clients and engaging directly with them throughout the brief, creating a closer, more trusted relationship with them and encouraging smarter, more efficient work. I challenge and push our design and writing teams to produce better, braver work, and our client services teams to challenge and exceed client requirements, resulting in significantly improved work. Bringing 15 years of editorial experience to bear on the agency processes, I have implemented new work practices that focus on agility, creativity and consumer-first thinking and have worked collaboratively and productively on multi-agency client projects.
