Freyja in a few words
Iceland based fine artist specialising in figurative portrait paintings/mixed media. I create portraits and illustrative paintings of famous figures including pop culture icons and work with a wide range of materials including powder pigment and glitter, though acrylic paint is the main medium of choice.
Other works focus on incorporating cats and figures in a naive, childlike style as well as smaller works made with yarn and wool.
My work can be described as humorous, rebellious, feminist and full of cattitude.
