David Campbell

I am an experienced graphic designer and artworker, specialising in FMCG food and drink sectors. I have been freelancing since 2004 and work with some big food producers such as Albert Bartlett, Scotty Brand and Genius Gluten Free.

Based in central Scotland I am looking for work-from-home or hybrid roles.

In brief, I design branding, packaging, photography, social media assets, in-store POS and shopper experiences - which I create and visualise in 3D. I have created the brand identity and all packaging for Scotty Brand which is the number 15 Scottish food brand in 2021 and have recently completed a comprehensive brand and packaging refresh for Genius which is one of the UK’s top Gluten Free brands.

I am particularly diligent when it comes to file retention and backup. All work is immediately backed up to the cloud as well as external hard drives stored both on and off-site. In 20+ years I have never lost a piece of work or an editable file.

I am known to be extremely reliable, fast, and consistent with high-quality work. I have a deep knowledge of print, from Litho and Digital to Flexo. I understand processes, inks, limitations and how to provide repro and printers with perfect files that require little to no alteration. Over the years I have sent to print millions of packs for my clients without incident and for that reason, they all continue to work with me to this day. I would be more than happy to provide their details as references to support.

Finally, I would regard myself as an excellent communicator, confident and knowledgable, but also friendly, collaborative and supportive of clients and co-workers alike.
