Chris in a few words
Chris Chung was born in Hong Kong and has been living in the UK for the past 20 years. After graduating, he pursued his passion for cooking, working as a Japanese chef for over a decade. In 2019, he transitioned to photography and now resides in Margate, a seaside town in southeast England, where he recently opened a photography store.
Chris's journey with photography began in his teenage years when his father gifted him a camera, sparking his exploration of life through the lens. He captures nature, people, and events, and as a professional photographer. Photography is about 'People' he specializes in weddings, portraits, properties, and food, while also engaging in social photography working with NGO such as SGI-UK.
His humanistic approach to photography is deeply inspired by his encounters with his Buddhist master, Daisaku Ikeda, and his belief in Nichiren Daishonin's Buddhism.
