I worked with Charles on a project related to the implementation of a machine learning sales system in our region. He was extremely helpful to me and my team to support our questions and help everyone feel comfortable with the new technology. I have nothing but positive things to say about Charles and I have no doubt that Charles has great qualification to work on implementations of machine learning/data science systems. Hehe continuously reinforced the ideas which impacted my team and was able to answer all my questions in an easy to understand fashion.

Marco Rust - Lennar

I'm very pleased to recommend Charles for the position of project or program manager. As the director of IT Deployment at Lennar, I worked alongside Charles for several years. Not only was he a key player on our team, but he's also become a close colleague. I believe Charles’ skills and leadership qualities would make him an invaluable addition to an IT Project Management team. In his work, I managed as a direct report and was extremely pleased with his ability to plan, create, organize, manage and build a global programs to excellent effect. He's an excellent writer, with a facility for translating technical information into engaging content. While at Lennar, he also used his varied knowledge of the tech world (development, Cybersecurity and Machine Learning) to manage IT professionals of all types. In addition to him professional qualifications, Charles has personal qualities that make him well-suited to leadership. He naturally falls into the role of "point person" that you can approach with questions. He's not afraid to take risks and often suggests new directions to explore. He's committed to quality, growth, and progress, and he inspires him team members to strive for the same. In short, Charles is a person with vision. Charles has my highest recommendation for the position of project or program manager. I personally see him as someone that will be working as a director or higher level in the coming year and I'm excited to see the directions Charles drive takes him in. Please feel free to contact me for any further information.

Jonathan Durette - KPMG International

It is my pleasure and honor to recommend Charles as a Project Manager and Program Manager. I have worked with Charles for 3 years as his manager in international implementations and most recently for a Machine Learning implementation. He continuously used his excellent leadership skills to deliver spectacular results in the role of Project Manager. I am confident that his exceptional skills, professional experience, and personal qualities will continue to make him a powerful asset. Later, in his role at the Program manager level, Charles constantly demonstrated an extensive knowledge of project management tools and techniques, as well as superb communication skills. In particular, his in-depth knowledge of project methodologies helped increase the number of projects completed on-time and within budget by over 20%. Moreover, his uncanny ability to facilitate clear communication between different teams and departments ensured misunderstandings were few and far between. What’s more, Charles’ extraordinary focus and strategic way of thinking always made him a stand-out member of his teams. Whenever there are problems or flaws in the production process, he showcases his superb analytical qualities to quickly identify the issue and deal with it before it can become too serious. I have no doubt he will make a strong addition to any team requiring greater organization, especially when time is of the essence and difficult solutions are required.

Nav Sherif - Assurant

I first met Charles in the spring of 2009 at Royal Caribbean Cruiseline. I was impressed that as a newhire to our technical sales team, he onboarded quickly and delivered results while learning new skills, such as agile team management, Kanban and the cruiseline booking system. I was assigned to be his direct report on several key company project and worked daily with him for 18 months. Over that time, I interacted with him in multiple daily touch-points/meetings, five to six days per week. For many of those months, our normal schedule was to meet for coffee to plan the day, and then proceed to various sales and technical meetings where Charles would watch, learn, and participate in problem solving initiatives for sales. Charles and I stopped working together on a daily basis after I recommended him to team leader for SAP implementation in our partner brands in Brazil in 2010. During that period and until Charles left Royal Caribbean, we continued to speak three to four times a week on SAP implementation and transaction-related matters related to sales. When I left Royal Caribbean in 2015, I engaged Charles to work with me and we continued to work through project and program level implementations at Lennar and Assurant. I can say with certainty that Charles knows how to handle difficult interpersonal situations in a careful, decent way. On one occasion during a virtual meeting last year, Charles scheduled an important presentation for us that was to include some slides he had prepared. Becaues he was unable to present and share the slides, he asked a junior team member to present the slides but that other person forgetfully misplaced them. Rather than embarrass the junior person in front of us, Charles took full responsibility for the absence of the slides, saying she was at fault for not looking after the slides himself. After the presentation, the junior person, whom I now mentor explained to me that he was the one who should have been blamed. Charles’ simple but humane act reflects the kind of integrity and restraint that all good leaders need. Since he left Assurant, we continue to keep in touch several times per week. Our long work relationship has given me a very good foundation for recommending Charles' abilities and potential to lead IT programs and projects.
