Research associate in Bioinformatics for over 2 years. In R and Python, I have applied various statistical, modelling and machine learning approaches to analyse several next generation sequencing data sets (RNA sequencing, ChIP-Seq) as well as microarrray data. My strong focus has been in the alignment, extensive downstream analyses of bulk and single cell RNA sequencing data, spatial transcriptomics data as well as in the management, visualisation, interpretation and reporting if these data.
I have performed modelling- as well as log-based normalisation, dimensionality reduction e.g. PCA, TSNE, UMAP. I have also analysed cellular signalling and gene regulation networks, dynamics of cellular differentiation, gene and cell enrichment analyses, feature classification, etc.
I am also familiar with the UNIX OS and the use of bash. My programmatic and statistical skills are easily transferrable to the analyses and interpretation of even non-biological data. I am looking forward passionately to accompanying you through your project.
