• Permanently employed as Bernadette’s in-house copywriter servicing world status brands and
leading UK domestic clients across a variety of high profile comms channels.
• Led Canon towards a world-class, award-winning CRM solution. My emails were recognised as
Gold Winner at the 2021 DMA awards by achieving open rates of 35%, click-through rates
of 3.7% (doubling the industry benchmark for both metrics) and generating €460m in sales.
• Directed content strategy across Kia.com/uk, including a complete overhaul of Kia’s Hybrid
and Electric offering. Wrote deep-dive copy helping buyers understand the benefits of switching
from petrol to EV. Landing page views doubled. Test drive requests increased by 18%. Business saw
site wide conversions increase by 33%.
• Worked within a cross-skilled UX/UI team, providing copy for O₂’s ‘360’ initiative. This has involved
migrating the company’s front-end legacy systems into a re-tooled, scalable environment
accompanied by wholesale revisions to eComm, My O₂ and Point Of Sale portals. Saw a 150%
increase in sales volume, a 4.7 App Store rating, and +35% uptick in monthly active user. Also
established o2.co.uk as telco website of the year three times in a row.
• Masterminded a two-year CRM drive for Domino’s, including a full suite of on-brand emails, SMS,
and in-app messages managed with Braze. Copy demonstrated a knack for tonal nuance aligned
closely to Domino’s ‘We Got This’ brand identity, complete with some solid emoji game 🍅 🧀 🍕 .
• Create and executed Tone of Voice guidelines for brand comms on Cadbury, Saga, Sage, INEOS
Grenadier, Vanish and EasyJet.
