Throughout my career I have mainly been involved in Programme / Project Management / Business Analysis, whether as a programmer, Analyst, Programme Manager, Project Manager, Business Analyst or Web Manager..
As Project Manager is often a wide encompassing role, I have always been involved in many aspects of the Business I have worked for, as my roles often include, Sales, Client Management, Contractor Management, Management Consultancy, Managing Client IT Requirements on a day to day basis, Tender and Bid management, Project Finance, new project development and generally ensuring the smooth operation of the company and client expectations.
I believe the client is the key to a project and their role and position within the project is the most important. I believe customer satisfaction is the most important outcome of a project, not just because that guarantees return business or free advertisement but because it is right that the customer gets more than their expectations from a project.
I have managed Projects developed in the following technologies, Salesforce, Sitecore, Magento, Joomla, WordPress, php, C+, javascript, SSL/Secure Servers, SAP, ePos, .NET, mySQL, Access Databases, CGI/Perl, XML/XSL, Java/J2EE and html on either Linux or Microsoft based servers.
I also have had involvement with PC Management, Network and Server management, plus Project Managed installations and Roll outs of IT equipment.

I have used a variety of Project Methodologies including, Agile, Waterfall, Kanban and SSADM, I often find that I use certain aspects of these tools depending on the scope of the project I am developing.
I’ve used Visual Studio, AtTask, Basecamp, Smartsheets, Jira, Harvest, Traffic, ACT!, Freshbooks and MS Project as my project Management tools.
If I was asked what is my main strength within IT, it is probably visualising projects and process’s for the stakeholders.
