Ahmed in a few words

I am Full stack designer which includes UX/UI design and also web development in Webflow. I use Figma for UX/UI and Webflow to develop websites for my clients. I have experience over the years with designing both Website and mobile applications, my latest project being a fully functioning Webflow site for a client based in London. All my projects can be found in my portfolio.

I take time and care with every project I am handed in order for the client that I am working with to succeed in whatever their goal is.

My steps when taking on a project are as follows.

1. Research 🔬

Firstly a call will be done between myself and the client to find out more about the user. This is crucial in understanding what the client would like built/designed. Once this is answered we can then all agree to move onto the second phase.

2. Design 🎨

The second phase is the design phase, this is where I will take all the requirements I am given and use this to create designs for the system that needs building. Keeping the design in line with what you want as I believe the most important person in all of these steps is YOU and your needs!

3. Build 🏗

Once the design requirements are met and feedback has been given, I will then start the build and make sure everything in this phase meets modern website practices such as speed, aesthetics and reliability.

4. Launch 🚀

Finally launching the website, once the website has been built I will get further feedback from you.
If everything on the website is done accordingly to your needs we can then proceed in getting this launched for you. After this phase I will go through steps in maintaining the site so you do not have a need for a developer in the future.

Simba Autos, a garage based in West London had no digital footprint before I offered my services.

I sent a proposal to the client to design and develop a website for them which he was pleased and enthusiastic about due to how long the garage was open for and how there was no online representation for their services, especially a website.

Firstly I gathered all the requirements necessary from the user, asking them what they wanted from the website. initially the client wanted an informative website about his garage as well as the ability to contact them via email and phone call. A booking system was not required as the client was looking for an administrator to help with bookings which he didn't currently have.

Once the requirements were gathered, I went onto the design phase of the project. This included Mockups of the design, typography, spacing and layout of the soon to be website. Adhering to all UX/UI design principles. Once this was done, I then went onto developing the user interface and user experience of the website using Figma as my main tool.

Thirdly, when the UX/UI aspect of the project was completed, it was now time to start building. I used webflow a low code software platform to make this happen. The software allowed me to create all the sections as per the Figma designs that were completed using interactive HTML and CSS components. Javascript was also used in this project the enable a counter on one of the sections, I went through a number of small challenges in order to make this part of the project work, for e.g. learning the alignments for the buttons as well as getting the correct padding and margins right for the different sections. Nonetheless, once this was completed the website was launched and amazing feedback was given by the client who was happy with the result.

Between each of the phases feedback and communication between myself and the client was apparent.
