I worked as a freelance Visual Merchandising Lead for Liverpool, the largest department store chain in Mexico, overseeing its flagship store in Polanco, one of the most upscale and trend-driven commercial districts in Mexico City. Liverpool is a high-end retail giant with over 120 stores nationwide, offering a diverse range of departments from fashion and beauty to technology and home décor. As a freelance VM lead, I was responsible for shaping the visual identity of the store across multiple departments, ensuring a consistent, elevated and customer-centric experience throughout.

Key Responsibilities:
Designed and executed visual merchandising strategies across all major departments, including women’s and men’s fashion, cosmetics, fragrances, home, technology, and luxury goods.
Oversaw window displays, focal points, product presentation and customer flow zones, curating aesthetic and immersive retail experiences.
Worked directly with international brands(Dior, Estée Lauder, Levi’s, Samsung, etc.) to adapt and execute their global visual guidelines in-store.
Managed internal and external VM teams, ensuring the on-time rollout of seasonal campaigns, national promotions (e.g. Hot Sale, Holiday), and commercial events.
Led store renovations, layout transformations, and new space openings, collaborating with architects, suppliers, and brand teams.
Monitored and analyzed traffic flow, visual ROI, and customer behavior in collaboration with the marketing and sales departments.

Led the full redesign of the youth fashion floor to improve customer navigation and visual storytelling.
Directed visual setups for the launch of new luxury corners, enhancing cross-department coherence and premium brand presence.
